This is a project made during my sophomore year in college, based on a real building on my campus. By using the actual building blueprint, I was able to build a rather accurate 3D replica of the floor plan in Unreal. After this aspect of the project was finished, I explored what it was like to use and place assets from an asset pack for the first time and designed the building as a modern school. The first floor had a variation of classrooms and offices, and the player had to explore the rooms to find red keys to progress. Once the player got all of them, they advanced to the second floor where I decided to challenge myself with prop placement. This floor was way messier than the first, with furniture and props placed all over the place. However, I used this to my advantage to create flow and direction with the gameplay, and create opportunities for the player to grapple over obstacles.
